The American Dream

This year my wonderful husband and I bought a house for the first time.  Well to say it nicely,  it was the worst experience ever! We went to a local real estate place and they had the worst customer service ever.  What was supposed to take 30 to 45 days to close after we put in our offer, actually took over 3 months to close.  They were so unprofessional, it ruined the whole experience.  But we stuck through it and now we have a wonderful house that I love!

Well I never imagined owning a house would be so much work. We are in the process of geTting rid of all the popcorn ceiling in the house, putting a new texture and painting all the walls.  I thought we would be finished this summer but my oh my was I wrong.

So far we have finished one whole room, the bathroom and as well as the ceiLing in the other bathroom. .. and now the summer is over.  I wanted to do so much more!

Well the rooms we have done so far turned out absolutely fantastic!
